Fall

Falling

A papercut sequence of a girl walking, tripping and falling, getting back up and walking on.

This is the first draft evolving the idea of animated stills- the perception of movement within images that are not actually changing themselves.

Simultaneously it also explores the concept of repetition, an inevitable return to point zero. A theme I, logically enough, seem returning to continuously.

Death (sorry, its not as bad as it sounds)

Proposal for the poster contest DON'T PANIC.

Death, the theme of the contest, is the end of a period of time, varying in lenght for each individual. In this visual experiment, I try to ilustrate time- or the passing of time. The journey to the end I guess.

The poster is a rather personal interpretation of a cardiogram. Each element, is a frame from a short video, in which you see the sheets on a bed constantly changing and therefore creating a much wider timeline then what you perceive from the cardiogram.

I suppose the concept of death is quite subtle in this illustration. Maybe I'm not as dark as I thought.

TO SEE OR NOT TO SEE... & other Post (love) Cards

TO SEE OR NOT TO SEE is a series of "Love letters/cards" (postcard format) that I started developing shortly after running into someone very dear to me from my past (first impressions apparently DO last) and where after it soon became obvious (to me) that we belonged together. Forever. And EVER.

Now: I had to come up with a convincing way to win him over (he apeared a bit skeptical to the whole idea- although not entirely against it either), so what better way to declare your love and share your thoughts the very old fashioned way- by snail-mail, through Postcards. The nostalgia of a postcard (the memories of certain moments and past adventures) is overwhelming, BUT I haven't written on the back of them yet- so I'm leaving part of the story untold... A little slice of future is up for grabs...The postcards have actually sort of morphed into this never ending story. I don't really know where or how to put a stop to it... perhaps sending them would prove a good option.
